This advert by Ovo Energy (the UK’s largest independant energy supplier) has launched this provocative advert that features various household appliances metaphorically plugged in to the Earth. This is intended to illustrate the potential of renewable energy.
This campaign was a debut for the media company Uncommon Creative Studio, founded in December by former Grey London executives Lucy Jameson, Nils Leonard and Natalie Graeme. The advertising campaign is expected to run until mid-April.
The music in the advert
The heavy rock music in the advert is the 1986 track Raining Blood by American thrash metal band Slayer taken from their Reign in Blood album.
