This HSBC advert promotes their new Connected Money app which allows customers to view their accounts from different banks in one place. Once again, HSBC’s new style of advert stars TV presenter Richard Ayoade who weathers the economic storm and skips the financial tightrope.

The song in the advert called Chariots of Fire is an instrumental theme written and recorded by Vangelis for the soundtrack of the 1981 film of the same name. In May 1982 the track stayed at number 1 on the U.S. Top 100 Billboard Chart and remains the only song by a Greek artist to top the U.S. chart.
