This TV advert by Smart Energy GB shows how “Saskia” could save enough energy to power her sewing machine non-stop for 195 days by getting a smart meter. Smart Energy GB is the national campaign for the smart meter rollout. The government are behind schedule on getting a smart meter into every home by 2020. These campaigns are being released in an effort to get people on-board despite some bad press on the implications of switching over.
