NatWest have released a new TV advert for 2019 showing a couple’s journey towards buying a house. Continuing their “We Are What We Do” campaign, the high street bank says that they are “thinking of new ways to make banking easier”.

The music in the advert is Bach’s Prelude and Fugue No. 1 in C major. Prelude and Fugue is a classical format or set of key-cycles rather than a name given to any one piece of music. Bach’s collection is two books of preludes and figues called ‘The Well-Tempered Clavier’ written in 1722 and 1742 respectively. Many composers have written one or, usually, several such works.
