British luxury fashion house Burberry introduce their new Fragrance Blossom with the help of Cara Delevigne. The British actress and model is fast becoming a regular for TV advertising having recently featured in the Volkswagen T-Cross commercial.

The song that Cara is singing in the Burberry commercial is the London folk song “Maybe It’s Because I’m a Londoner” written by Hubert Gregg in 1944. The song has since been performed by many artists. Probably most noteworthy is the version by British singing and comedy double act Flanagan & Allen. The song became popularised during World War Two. The light-hearted song with meaningful lyrics struck a nerve with many during the troubled times in Britain. Cara Delevingne’s version is not currently commercially available.
