Sony’s new TV advert for their 2019 Bravia OLED TVs features an immersive TV experience in a desert where the screens display flowing water and a waterfall. Like their screens, the contrast of water backdropped in a desert is striking. The televisions feature Acoustic Surface sound technology where the screen becomes the speaker.

The music in the 2019 Sony Bravia OLED TV advert is a track called “Beautiful Thing” released in 2016 by America’s Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal. Grace won season 11 of the show in 2016 at the tender age of 12 with her distinctive vocals, often accompanying herself on the ukulele. Before global stardome, VanderWaal began her musical career by posting videos of her original songs and covers on her YouTube channel and performing at open mic nights near her hometown of Suffern, New York. The now 16 year-old has released and EP, a studio album and has performed on concert tours throughout 2017 and 2018 winning various awards along the way.
