This 2019 Fiat advert video wishes Happy Mother’s Day features a stork that delivers a baby in front of a house. The bird then notices a Fiat 500L parked in-front of the house on the other side of the street. The stork then decides to take the baby there as a preferred choice. This Mother’s Day msesage comes with a thank-you as the ad reads “Thank you moms for starting our biggest journey”.

The song in the Fiat 500L advert is the 1970 hit (They Long To Be) Close To You by American duo the Carpenters. The track is taken from their second studio album of the same name. The song was written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David and first recorded by Richard Chamberlain. However the Carpenters’ version is the best known becoming their breakthrough hit.
