Apple have launched their new iPhone 11 with this 2-minute video advert. The device is “ready for action” according to the tech giant as the commercial highlights a host of new features.
The iPhone 11 boasts a new dual camera system for widefield and ultra-wide photos. The smartphone also includes a new Auto Night mode which has vastly improved the iPhone’s performance in this area. The new A13 bionic chip can create depth of field images and offers much more power than the device’s predecessors. According to Apple this is currently the fastest chip in a smartphone.
The iPhone 11 also features Water resistance up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Faster Face ID. A 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display and all-day battery life. The screen remains as a 6.1-inch LCD with True Tone display
Quick Take
A nice feature that was demonstrated at Apple’s launch event at the Steve Jobs Theater in California was the iPhone 11’s new Quick Take feature/ When you hold down the shutter button the device will start recording a clip. You won’t need to swipe from the photo mode to video anymore
Slo-mo selfies
A feature that proved popular at the launch event was the iPhone 11’s front camera’s ability to now take Slow-motion video just like the rear camera. As a result, we will likely see the birth of “slofies” once customers get their hands on their shiny new iPhone
How much will the iPhone 11 cost?
The iPhone 11 will retail starting at $699 (US) / £729 (UK). More expensive to UK buyers as this works out as much more expensive than the going exchange rate.
When can I preorder the iPhone 11 ?
The iPhone 11 can be pre-ordered from September 13, 2019 and ship on Friday September 20.
The music in the advert
Music: Brazooka | Artist : NVDES
The music in the iPhone 11 advert is a new song called ‘Brazooka’ that’s just been released by Los Angeles-based indie electropop group NVDES. This musical project have produced the music for previous Apple adverts including the iPhone X A New Light and Face ID commercials. Ironically, the group have also done some musical work for rivals Samsung including their Galaxy A and Galaxy J adverts earlier in the year.
