O2 invite viewers to “Be their armour” for the England Rugby World Cup campaign with this dramatic and bizarre TV advert.
England Rugby sponsors O2 have revealed a video of English rugby players preparing for war in full English Rose crested Samurai gear forged by Japanese locals. Star players such as Owen Farrell and Courtney Lawes can be seen in what looks like an old Japanese village waiting for battle. The commercial by the mobile phone network features, drums, horses and bow and arrows. O2 say that “We’ve always believed that the power of support can help England overcome any obstacle”.

The music in the O2 England Rugby World Cup 2019 advert is a folk song called “My Love Will Never Die” released this year by AG.
The track which featured on Season 4 Episode 10 of American TV Series Lucifer features vocals by Australian singer-songwriter Claire Wyndham. The song is available on iTunes and Amazon Music.
