ScS have released this new 2019 advert telling viewers to believe in Christmas delivery. The commercial follows their usual format of displaying some selected models of sofa along with their less than 50% price deals with nothing to pay until 2020.

The music in the ScS Believe advert is a cover of the 1998 dance hit “Believe” by American singer and actress Cher. The upbeat dance track was a new venture for the singer’s usual pop-rock style. The song featured a new audio processing software Auto-Tune to create a deliberate vocal distortion. This became known as the “Cher Effect”. The song enjoyed incredible success becoming the highest-selling single by a solo female artist in the United Kingdom and reached number one across Europe and the US Billboard Hot 100. The single remains one of the bestselling singles, with sales of over 11 million copies worldwide.
Although it sounds very similar to the original by Cher, the version in the ScS advert is infact a cover by an unknown female singer providing vocals to the original backing track.
