Renault celebrates the 30th anniversary of the All-new Clio with this TV Advert featuring a love story between two girls set to a cover version of “Wonderwall” by Oasis.
The ad begins with a young English girl in the 90’s who goes on an exchange trip to France. The girl meets a friend which forms a relationship over 3 decades. In the commercial we see all the trials and tribulations they face along the way.
The heart warming advert concludes with the pair grown up with their own family. They visit England with their daughter visiting the parents of the English woman.
All through the advert, we hear a vocal cover of the 90’s hit Wonderwall by Oasis which both lyrically and audibly fits the advert perfectly.

The music in the Renault Clio 30 years in the making advert is a vocal cover version of the 90’s hit “Wonderwall” by English rock band Oasis.
The song was released as the fourth single from the Manchester band’s second studio album “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory” in 1995. “Wonderwall” topped the charts in Australia and New Zealand. The song also reached the top ten on another ten charts, including Canada and the United States at number 5 and 8, respectively, as well as number two on both the UK Singles Chart and Irish Singles Chart.
The track was certified quadrouple platinum in the UK and gold in the US. The song still remains one of the band’s most popular songs to this day.
