Visa have released a new Christmas 2019 TV advert intended to support high street retailers.
Last year VISA launched the first such advert which proved very popular. This year’s ad follows a similar format where we see shop and business owners singing individual lines of a classic song. This time It’s the Queen hit “Somebody To Love”. For this campaign, the credit card issuer uses the hashtag #WhereYouShopMatters.

The music in the Visa 2019 Christmas Advert is the 1976 hit “Somebody To Love” by British rock band Queen and written by lead by vocalist Freddie Mercury. The song debuted on the band’s 1976 album A Day at the Races and also appears on their 1981 compilation album Greatest Hits. The song reached No. 2 in the UK and No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.
