This new Amazon advert for Christmas 2020 features a talented young ballet dancer and a beautiful cover version of a classic Queen song.
The 2-minute commercial shows the ballerina hard in training after being chosen in her Academy School of Dance production. She is later disappointed as the show had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.
However, with a little help from her family, the dancer decides to put on a performance of her own outdoors. She performs outside in the snow under a cool night sky using a torch that she had purchased from Amazon. Her performance is enjoyed and applauded by her neighbours from blocks of flats in the surrounding area.

The music in the Amazon 2020 Christmas advert is a classical cover version of the 1991 song ‘The Show Must Go On’ by British rock band Queen. ‘The Show Must Go On’ was the twelfth and final track on their 1991 album, Innuendo.
Credited to Queen, the song was primarily written by the band’s lead guitarist Brian May. The song champions the effort of frontman Freddie Mercury who continued to perform despite approaching the end of his life and battle with HIV/AIDS.
The classical piece has been specially composed for Amazon by London-based producer and composer Peter Mauder.
