The music in the advert

Music: Unfinished Sympathy | Artist : Massive Attack

The music in the background of the Channel 4 “On The Edge” trailer is a song called “Unfinished Sympathy” released in 1991 by English trip hop group Massive Attack. The song was released as the second single from the band’s debut album Blue Lines. The single became a top-twenty hit on the singles charts of several countries.

The track was perhaps made even more popular by it’s memorable music video featuring a single continuous shot of band member Shara Nelson walking through a Los Angeles neighbourhood. The song’s title was an obvious pun of Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony”.
