Confused.com Passers By Advert – Classical Music

This new 2020 Confused.com advert called Passers By features famous classical piece of music. The commercial begins with a woman saying “I’m not confused, but they are. It’s that awkward dance” as she looks over to see two people across the road having the most awkward dance in the street as they try to pass each other.

The frantic feel of the classical piece of music matches the awkward situation perfectly. The woman goes on to say “there’s so much choice. This world is full of little confusions” and concludes with the tagline we are now very used to.. “But I’m not Confused, I’m Confused.com.”

The music in the Confused.com advert

Music: “Summer” (from The four Seasons) | Artist : Antonio Vivaldi

The music in the new 2020 Confused.com Passers By advert is an excerpt from the classical “Summer” concerto from The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi. Written in 1723, The Four Seasons is arguably the Baroque composer’s best known work.

The particular piece of music heard in the Confused.com advert is the more frantic “3rd Movement” of Vivaldi’s “Summer”.

At the very end of the advert we hear the outro music heard in previous Confused.com commercials. This is the iconic intro to the song ‘Rumble’ recorded by American musicians Link Wray & The Wraymen.
