This bizarre new advert by IKEA titled ‘The Hare’ features a Hare and a Tortoise demonstrating how important it is to get our sleep.
The advert featuring music by Roots Manuva begins with a Hare walking along the street who then gets distracted by a group of friends. The furry friend then socialises for a while, has a kebab then misses the bus home. We see the Hare spending the rest of the night on electronic devices, playing music and watching TV before eventually falling asleep on the couch.
Next door we see a Tortoise waking up in the morning from a good night’s sleep. Well, the rest we can work out. We all know the story of the Tortoise and the Hare.
