The music in the Nectar Points App advert is a song called ‘Jump In The Line (Shake, Senora)’ recorded in 1961 by American singer Harry Belafonte. The song was composed by Trinidadian Calipsonian Lord Kitchener (Real name Alwin Roberts).
The song had a boost in popularity in 1988 thanks to the comedy horror film ‘Beetlejuice’ where ‘Jump In The Line’ featured in the final climatic scene of the film.
There have been many samples and renditions of the song including Gary U.S. Bonds hit single “Twist, Twist Senora” in 1962, the soundtrack to David Zucker’s comedy film BASEketball and Pitbull’s track “Shake Señora” on his 2011 album Planet Pit.
