This Starling Bank advert invites viewers to ‘set yourself free’ from their old bank and join theirs for award-winning personal and business banking. The ad has been airing through 2021 and now in 2022.
In the commercial we see costumers queuing inside a bank waiting to be served at the cashier’s desks. One woman decides to set herself free by floating up in to the air and flying around the bank lobby mush to everybody’s surprise.
The lady eventually fly’s up crashing through the glass ceiling of the building up in to the sky where she does her baking via her smartphone instead.

The music in the 2021-2022 Starling Bank advert is a song called ‘I Feel Free’ recorded in 1966 by British rock band ‘Cream’. The song contains the lyrics:
“Feel when I dance with you
We move like the sea
You, you’re all I want to know
I feel free”
It was written by English lyricist Pete Brown and the music by Scottish musician Jack Bruce.
‘I Feel Free’ was Cream’s second single and peaked at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart. The track featured as the opening track on the group’s debut album, Fresh Cream.
